AMST467 American Studies Capstone Experience
This culminating course for senior-year American Studies Majors consists of intensive readings, research, discussion, and analysis of a selected topic, theme, or time period. Perspectives from both of the American Studies major’s subjects within her chosen concentration will be included in the readings and subject matter. Additionally, Seminar students will complete a substantial research paper, using some primary source material, on an approved topic. At the conclusion of the Seminar, students will give oral presentations on their paper topics. Prerequisites: AMST 101, AMST 305 and senior status.
