CS235 Computer Organization

Basic concepts of computer systems and machine architecture, digital logic, data representation and addressing techniques; assembly language programming; organization and structuring of the major hardware components of computers; function of and communication between the components; fundamentals of logic design; memory archtecture; and processor design and implementation of modern architecture theories. Prerequisite: CS 117 or approval of the program chair.
