HA330 Quality & Performance Management
The focus area in this course requires demonstrated competencies in analyzing how quality improvement programs are developed, implemented, and improved; and skills necessary for management in the healthcare environment. Principles of quality management and guidelines for implementing total quality in health care are discussed, and differentiation between quality assurance and quality management presented. Topics covered include how to build a project plan, risk management, project marketing, communications, quality assurance, project measurements, and the psychology of project management.
