HA646 Global Issues in Health Policy & Management
This course examines approaches in health policy and management in a global context. We will explore the major determinants of morbidity and mortality across nations including: basic public health infrastructure, educational policy, health system quality, appropriate technology use, gender issues, and democracy. We will also examine health systems across nations including organizing, delivery and financing of health.
