PSY647 Counseling of the Aged

This course will develop an understanding of the physicaland psychological changes associated with aging. Factors associatedwith lifestyle changes for the aged will be considered with afocus on how to help individuals and families cope with successfulaging. Provides the helping professional with specific counselingskills required for working with the aged. Prerequisite: PSY 633.
