PSY659 Counseling Children & Adolescents
This course will address the disorders and difficulties of childrenand adolescents and the treatment of these disorders. Thecourse will include the process, theories, techniques andmaterials used in counseling children and adolescents.Individual, group and family intervention techniques willbe emphasized as well as legal and ethical considerations.Strategies presented can be used in a variety of settings.Multicultural considerations are addressed. Prerequisite: PSY 633.
