AHS495 Internship
These courses (Internship and Capstone) are designed to enable students to gain knowledge and experience working within the operation of a health care institution or agency. Students will begin to develop a project under the supervision of a faculty member and a qualified health professional. This project will be completed in the Senior Seminar/Capstone with a report and presentation. 60 hours of internship work is required for this course. Prerequisite: Completion of all other program credits including concentration or approval of Advisor and Program Chair. Students will develop a resume and learn more about professional opportunities in health care.
