AMST100 American & The World

This course introduces students to a diverse range of information, concepts and perspectives regarding the United States and the other nations of the globe. Using a variety of readings and other source materials, students examine the geography, cultures, forms of governance, religions, economics and historical legacies that constitute the interdependent world in which we live. In the process, students will become acquainted with the value and vitality of using an interdisciplinary approach in the study of national, regional, and global affairs.
