EDAS685 Field Internship I

During this semester experience under the mentorship of a practicing school principal, students in EDAS 685 Field Internship I will begin to apply their learning in a real school setting. Students will study and participate in all aspects of the mentor’s school and community in order to experience the application of theory into practice. Through Field Internship, students will reinforce the knowledge gained in their course work and master the performance skills they will need to be successful as school leaders. Each student is expected to spend a minimum of 100 hours in each of the three semesters, participating in activities that meet the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL) and the New Jersey Professional Standards for School Leaders.
