JUS301 Juvenile Law & Justice

This course examines the main components of the American juvenile justice system. A historical overview of the system is provided, and relevant case law is reviewed. Theories of adolescent personality development and behavior, adolescent subcultures, delinquency prevention, and treatment methods are among the topics considered. Prerequisite JUS 101.
