MATH151 Calculus I
Limits, Continuity, Rules of Differentiation, Implicit Differentiation, Related Rates, Maxima and Minima, Rolle’s Theorem, Mean Value Theorem, Curve Sketching, Definite and Indefinite Integrals, Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, applications of definite integrals, and derivatives of Transcendental Functions. An appropriate Computer Algebra System (CAS) will be utilized. Prerequisite: four years of high school mathematics or Math 149 or approval of the program chair.
