MUS261 Music of our Time

Presentation of the masterworks of music literature composed during the twentieth century with a study of relevant composers, styles, forms, and philosophical concepts that inspired them. Attendance at a musical performance or concert is required; students participate in a field trip to New York City or NJPAC. Satisfies Cluster 1 or Cluster 5 General Education requirement.
