PSY712 Advanced Cognitive and Personality Assessment
This course explores the theoretical bases of personality assessment as well as the use of the psychological instruments in the objective and projective assessment of personality traits and characteristics. Students will have training in administration, scoring and interpretation of personality assessment instruments with an emphasis on incorporating test results into a useful psychological report. The impact of culture on personality assessment as well as legal and ethical issues pertaining to assessment will be examined.
