REL153 Foundations in Lay Ministry
This course will explore contemporary issues in a theology of ministry and a review of documents and pastoral letters that have forged emerging new models of lay ministry in service to the Church. During the course, students will study appropriate boundaries and counseling resources in the helping professions. They will examine models of leadership in parish ministry, including ministry in multicultural settings. The spirituality and emotional health of the minister will be explored as well.
