ED451 Resources and Agencies for Individuals with Disabilities

Experiences at facilities and agencies serving individuals with diverse developmental disabilities and challenges develop knowledge of resources addressing the multiplicity of special needs across the life span. The course is organized in two ways: visits to resources with follow-up seminars at the College in which key ideas and practices in special education rehabilitation services are considered as well as attendance at relevant lectures. Prerequisites: ED101, ED200, and Junior Education Status. A min. 3.0 GPA is required.
