HA425 Informatics Applications
This course examines various components of informatics and the practical usage covering administrative, biomedical research, and clinical functions in health services settings including process improvement, control, and management of health data. Major topics include: evidence-based medicine, information retrieval, decision support systems, security and confidentiality, bioinformatics, information system cycles, key health information systems and standards and medical devices.
