HA440 Planning & Implementing Health Campaigns
This course explores the design, implementation, and evaluation of public communication campaigns designed to change health behavior of individuals, groups, and entire populations. Emphasis with be place on : explaining and assessing the relationship among assumptions, method, evidence, arguments, and theory in social and historical analysis; identifying and critically assessing ethical issues in social science and history; applying concepts about human and social behavior to particular questions or situations; communicating effectively in modes appropriate to a discipline or area of inquiry; evaluating and critically assessing sources and use of the conventions of attribution and correct citation; analysis and synthesis of information and ideas from multiple sources to generate new insights.
