SW331 Race, Class and Gender

This course surveys a broad range of theories and research on race, class and gender inequalities. This course will examine patterns and processes of such inequalities, and various arguments about their causes and origins. The course will consider how class origins, race and ethnicity, and gender affect the life chances and life experiences of individuals, and how such distinctions become and remain relevant.
