THEO239 Sexual Ethics

This course will explore the challenge that Biblical perspectives and Christian tradition bring to contemporary sexual attitudes and practices and the questions brought to the tradition fromthe culture. Emphasis will be given to the meaning of sexuality, the influence of attitudes toward the body on views of sexuality, Christian understanding of marriage and family and the meaning of intimacy as well as to some of the challenges raised in today’s society. Satisfies Cluster 4 General Education requirement.
