THEO629 U.S. Catholic Experience

The course will focus on the history of the Catholic community in the United States from colonial times to the present. Special attention will be given to the growth of parishes, the effects of immigration and ethnic pluralism within the Roman Catholic community, the impact of American culture on the practice of the faith and the ways people have handed on the faith.
