AMST467 American Studies Capstone Experience
This culminating course for senior-year American Studies Majors consists of intensive readings, research, discussion, and analysis of a selected topic, theme, or time period. Perspectives from both of the American Studies major subjects within his/her chosen concentration will be included in the readings and subject matter. Additionally, Seminar students will complete a substantial research paper, using some primary source material, on an approved topic. At the conclusion of the Seminar, students will give oral presentations on their paper topics. Prerequisites: AMST 101 and senior status.
