DM619 Typography and Layout for the Web and Digital Media
Students will study the most effective fonts, typographical designs and layouts for Web advertisements, businesses, websites and other Digital Media platforms. They will be trained to conceptualize and design for any type of web content including Digital Media sites, websites and blogs. Emphasis will be placed on how typographical and layout elements affect consumer interest, marketing strategies, business operations and intended messages. Differences between non-profit, for-profit, governmental and individual concerns will be considered. Required: 3 credits
