ED101 Introduction to Education
This course is an introductory overview of the history and development of public education with a focus on contemporary issues in schooling. Discussed are the social-political structure of public education in the context of social justice; best practices in curriculum; significant thinkers in education philosophy and impact of diversity issues on educational settings. Ten (10) hours of introductory clinical experience and participation required.
