ED310 Emergent Literacy in Inclusive Elementary and Early Childhood Education

This course explores the design, implementation, and assessment of literacy curriculum in inclusive elementary and early childhood education school settings. Balanced literacy approaches derived from skill-based and constructivist curriculum practices are developed. Ten (10) hours of supervised clinical experience is required. Students are responsible for their own transportation to their clinical setting(s). Pre-requisites: ED250 and Junior Education Status. A min. 3.0 GPA is required.
