FN200 Introduction to Food Science with Lab

Principles of food science are introduced with an emphasis on the function of ingredients in food systems. Scientific and sensory evaluation techniques are presented. Students are introduced to scientific writing. Requires laboratory session (4 Credits; Grading for lab is Pass/Fail; Offered fall semester; Prerequisites: None).
