FN610 Experiental Learning Public Health and Community Nutrition

Experiental learning in the community and public health environments. Experience in assessing and addressing food insecurity and strategies for providing culturally appropriate nutrition education and counseling are emphasized. Students are exposed to elements of sustainability, community gardening, food recovery and public policies and programs. Students complete 200 hours of experiential learning. Restricted to the MS in Nutrition/Dietetic Internship Cohort.
