NURS101 Medical Terminology/Calculations
This course is the study of the principles of medical word and medication calculation building to help the student develop the extensive medical vocabulary and mathematical skills used in nursing. Students receive a thorough grounding in basic medical terminology through a study of root words, prefixes and suffixes. A medication calculation textbook is utilized in addition to introduce and begin to learn this mandatory skill.
