PSY333 Research Methods & Statistics II

This course will examine experimental research design and inferential statistical analysis used in psychology. Topics will include hypothesis testing, understanding and selecting appropriate statistical designs, validity and reliability, confound control, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. The student will develop an original research proposal. A laboratory component will be included where the student will become familiar with statistical software to analyze and interpret data. Students must register for the laboratory component (333L) of this course, which students will take concurrently with Psy333. Prerequisites: Psy 330 and Psy 330L
