PSY700 Developmental Aspects of Behavior
This course traces human development throughout the lifespan, including prenatal, infancy, toddlerhood, childhood, adolescence and adulthood. The goal of the course is the acquisition of knowledge the foundational theories of development across the lifespan. Topics include: psychosocial development, cognitive development, biological development, and motivational development. In addition , students should become knowledgeable of observable developmental milestones for each era, within the traditional domains of behavior (i.e., cognitive , social/relational, emotion al, motivational and physical/biological).
