REL110 God and the World Before Jesus

A study of the literature and religion of the Scriptures shared by the Jewish and Christian communities, both Catholic and Protestant. The history of the People of Israel, the formation of their sacred books, and their influence on subsequent spirituality, as well as recent discoveries, insights and challenges will be included. Satisfies Cluster 4 General Education requirement.
