THEO250 Introduction to Christian Ethics
Through considering the scripture, the teaching authority of Catholic and other Christian communities and the lived faith experience of believers, this course will examine the principles and foundations of Christian Ethics. Attention will be given to factors that influence the dignity and freedom of the human person, the development of conscience and the process of discernment. Among the issues that may be addressed are racism and immigration, business and economics, violence and pacifism, as well as medical and sexual ethics. Satisfies Cluster 4 General Education requirement
