ART105 Creating Art: 21st Century
This is a wide-ranging introduction about how to think and act creatively by using tools in the visual arts, with applications for all other disciplines. Students will experiment in the art studio by beginning with traditional drawing and painting and then by exploring newer techniques, media, materials and styles to generate their own creative concepts and objects. In addition, by interacting with practicing artists and creators, watching clips about world innovators and doing website and library research, students will further build their own creative and innovative abilities. Open to all students; intro requirement for all art major and minors.
