BUS240 Principles of Financial & Managerial Accounting
This course introduces students to the role of accounting as the primary language of business. Basic topics in financial and managerial accounting are introduced. The course reviews fundamental accounting theory, concepts, and principles with emphasis on preparation and understanding of financial accounting statements and their application to the various types of business entities. Business ethics and internal controls are emphasized. An overview of financial analysis and applications of budget and break even analysis is also introduced.
