BUS360 Employee Benefits & Compensation Management
This course examines the theory, principles, and procedures involved in establishing a competitive compensation program. Strategies for maintaining an internally, externally, and individually equitable compensation program will be discussed. Additionally this course will examine the theory and practices underlying employee benefits offered by most employers, including an examination of the coverage and financial implications of group life, disability, medical, and retirement plans and their role in the total compensation package. Also discussed is the impact of tax and other government regulations on employee benefits and government mandated programs.
Prerequisite
BUS200, BUS320. Student must be junior/senior status, or receive permission from the Director or Chair of the Program.
