COMM390 Media Practicum
Academic credit for working on campus newspaper, 'The Station'. Students make all content decsions and design the paper. It is a forum for student expression and a laboratory for students to learn professional procedures in the mass media. These may include story selection, research, editing, proofreading, layout, photography, videography, graphics, ad sales, marketing and distribution. Specefic academic requirements are contracted between instructor and students. Newspaper Practicum may be repeated to a maximum of 12 credits.
