EDAS722 Dissertation Research & Scholarly Writing
This course is designed to introduce the doctoral students to qualitative research methodologies and to further develop and reinforce scholarly writing skills. A combination of readings, lectures, discussions, and class exercises will help students acquire these research and writing skills and apply them to their own developing areas of inquiry. By the end of the course, students will be able to: finalize their area of inquiry; draft an issue statement, frame research questions; and develop an initial plan for their own research grounded in an ongoing literature review.
