MATH453 Introduction to Real Analysis

Properties of the real number system including the Completeness Axiom, metric spaces, and the topology of the real line; sequences, convergence, function limits, continuous functions, the derivative, the Riemann integral, sequences and series of functions, and uniform convergence. Prerequisite: Math 253 or approval of the program chair.
