MUS119 Lives & Music of Great Composers

Survey of the major style periods of Western music with special emphasis on the lives and musical masterworks of the world's greatest composers from the time of Greek Antiquity through the twentieth century. Attendance at a musical performance or concert is required; students will participate in a field trip to New York City. Satisfies Cluster 1 or Cluster 5 General Education requirement.
