NURS611 Simulation
This course introduces the student to the use of simulation as a teaching strategy in nursing education. The components of a nursing education simulation framework will be discussed. Based on this framework, the student will develop a clinical scenario using a simulation design template and facilitate a simulation and debriefing based on this scenario. The student will be introduced to the use of high-fidelity human patient simulators and the technologies that support the use of simulation.
