PA614 Professional Growth and Development for PA Practice

The fourth course in the professional and practical aspects of PA practice series enables the student to successfully transition into the clinical education phase of the program and respond to the clinical environment as a knowledgeable, skillful and professional PA student. An orientation to the supervised clinical practice experiences includes discussions and role-play activities to allow the student to practice responding in a professional manner to potential challenging situations with patients, colleagues and preceptors.Personal and professional growth and development continue to be addressed including exploration of the occupational concerns of healthcare providers and resources to help prevent or mitigate their impact.
