PA683 SCPE Core Pediatrics
This supervised clinical practice experience provides the student with practical experience in the care of pediatric patients. Under the supervision of a clinical preceptor, the student will apply knowledge gained in the didactic phase to actual care of patients as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team. The emphasis of this experience is on the coordination and collaboration of pediatric care. The student will become familiar with the diagnosis, treatment and management of the pediatric patient while taking into consideration the additional concerns the patient’s family members and caregivers.
