PSY331 Biological Basis of Behavior
This course serves as an introduction to neural mechanisms that integrate, coordinate, and control behavior. Topics will include sensation, perception, motivation, emotion, learning, thought, and language, with an introduction to the neuropharmacology of anxiety, aggression, depression, schizophrenia, and memory. Neuropsychological assessment, forensic issues, current research and the practical applications of this area of psychology to students' personal and professional development will also be discussed.
