REL113 The Jewish Life of Jesus

This course will explore the Christian Bible, including the Hebrew Scriptures (or "Old Testament") and the New Testament. Special focus will be given to the historical context in which the texts were originally developed, various ways to interpret and appreciate the texts, and how the texts have shaped (and continue to shape) the Christian community.
