REL200 Bioethics
A faith-based study of the social implications of scientific research and technology, this course will examine medical, research and environmental ethics. Moral issues such as genetic screening, stem cell research, cloning, medically-assisted pregnancy, genetically engineered crops and similar topics will be included. This interdisciplinary course will be team taught by members of the theology, biology and chemistry/biochemistry departments. Satisfies Cluster 4 General Education requirement.
