REL230 Religious Education: Skills and Competancies
The course will give an overview of the role of the religious educator in the Church. An overview of theories of teaching and learning for adults, adolescents and children. The course will explore conte3mporary documents on Catechetics and Evangelization which ground the educational ministry of the Church. Skills in designing and evaluating curricula will be developed, with practical applications for program development and delivery in a wide span of parish venues and age groupings.
