Systems of social stratification as society as hierarchically ranked by race and ethnicity, socioeconomic class, and gender. Causes and consequences of prejudice, discrimination, and inequality. Required for sociology majors. Prerequisite: SOC 101. 4crs. Satisfies Outcome 7 of the General Education Curriculum.
