THEO625 Ministry & Ministries: Theology & Praxis

The course will trace the origins of the concept of ministry in the New Testament church, the gradual narrowing and clericalization of the concept in church history, and newer and broader understandings of the concept flowing from Vatican Council II. Emphasis will be on contemporary development of theology ofministry and pastoral applications of the theology.
