XDPT101 First Year Seminar

This course aims to identify those areas that will enable first year students to become more effective students and thus take advantage of the educational opportunities available at the College both within and outside of the formal class situation. The course focuses on the academic, personal, and social survival skills necessary for first year students to adapt to the College and facilitates their integration into the campus community. It also explores the mission and values of the College as it pertains to Saint Vincent DePaul and Elizabeth Seton. A year-long course required of all first year students with no prior college experience.
