BIO419 Research Methods

This is a lab-intensive course focusing on techniques used in biological research. Students will engage in hands on laboratory exercises to study biomolecules in both living cells and tissue. Some of the techniques that will be covered include cell culture, PCR, and immunohistochemistry. Scientific literature will be read and discussed each week. Lec&lab: 6 hours/wk. Prereq: BIO251.
