BUS315 Sports Marketing

The wide world of sports is a very complex, busy, and exciting industry that is continuously changing from day to day. Sport is an integral part of society worldwide and has a multi-billion dollar industry to follow. Students will learn an overview of the industry in detail, develop a basic of knowledge of tools and strategies to be successful in sports marketing/management fields, and better understand the changing landscape of sports as new technology, digital extensions, and social mediums are introduced. Prerequisites: BUS100, Introduction to Business, BUS110 Introduction to Sport Management, BUS215 Principles of Marketing - Student must be junior/senior status, or receive permission from the Director or Chair of the Program
